I used this firm for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I went to their premises and spoke to a very polite and helpful lady in the office. I placed my order for a quantity of planed hardwood and within two weeks they phoned to say it was ready. Again there was a pleasant atmosphere and the forklift driver was very helpful. The timber quality is first class with no knots or shakes, ( i am a fifth generation coachbuilder, i know my timber). The finish is exellent. I have placed another order and highly recomend S.H.Somerscales to anyone requiring quality timber and quality service.

Originally posted a poor review due to a not-so-good experience, but having since been to the mill and purchased some very good quality timbers at a great price. Along with a friendly atmosphere, the experience has given me the need to revise my review and I will be returning for sure.

A very relaxed atmosphere, I loaded a container of wood for export. Friendly staff and a warm loo, happy days.
